Green Hydrogen Hub
Enabled entirely by the drastically reduced LCOE of our Geothermal anchor, this electrolysis facility outputs zero-carbon Green Hydrogen, supplying the Mentawai Bay precinct and our own internal refinement processes.
The LCOE Enabler
Green Hydrogen is notoriously expensive to generate largely due to the high cost of renewable electricity required for electrolysis. Because our Geothermal plant produces baseload electricity at $0.04-0.06/kWh (a 50% discount to grid rates), Green Hydrogen becomes immediately economically viable in Mentawai.
Mentawai Bay Offtake & Internal Pipelines
A significant portion of the Hydrogen output is directed internally to our HVO/SAF refinery to hydrotreat recycled cooking oils into aviation fuel.
The remainder acts as a next-generation energy reserve for the Mentawai Bay precinct, providing clean fuel cells for maritime operations, remote site power, and advanced transport infrastructure.
Integration in the Ecosystem
- › Geothermal Plant (Cheap baseload power)
- › Desalination Plant (Demineralized Water)
- › HVO/SAF Facility (Hydrotreatment gas)
- › Mentawai Bay Precinct (Remote/marine fuel)
